Facetite Face-Lift: Look Years Younger Without Going Under the Knife
The sun, genetics, and lifestyle can cause a person to appear older than they are. For people not ready to undergo invasive surgery to refresh their appearance, FaceTite could provide an ideal solution.
Keep reading to learn how Facetite can take years off the face and neck without surgery or lengthy downtime!
What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that offers visible facial rejuvenation for the neck and lower face. The treatment delivers results that were previously only possible with invasive facial surgery.
FaceTite is completely non-surgical. No scalpels or knives are used during the procedure.
The treatment utilizes targeted radiofrequency energy, a groundbreaking technology that can be used to address various concerns, including:
- Hanging jowls
- Marionette lines
- Nasolabial folds
- Lowered eyebrows
- Fat pockets in the chin
- Sagging or loose skin on the neck
- Submental fullness or fatty deposits under the chin
By eliminating fat and activating collagen production, FaceTite erases years of aging in the jawline, neck, and chin, leaving patients with leaner, slimmer, more toned silhouettes.
How Does Facetite Work?
FaceTite employs a combination of cutting-edge technology known as radio-frequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) and a surgical technique similar to liposuction. RFAL utilizes thermal energy to eliminate unwanted fat and activate collagen production for firmer skin.
During FaceTite, Dr. Schlessinger will use local anesthesia to ensure you are comfortable. Then, he will create three tiny incisions, usually under the chin and the base of each earlobe.
Then he will insert a small cannula beneath the skin through these incisions. The cannula is paired with an electrode that glides over the skin’s surface to monitor the temperature in real time, eliminating the risk of overheating and burns or injury.
As radiofrequency (RF) energy is emitted, it passes between the electrode and cannula, delivering regulated energy. This ensures consistent, uniform results.
RF energy heats up and liquefies fat, which is suctioned out through the cannula. The heat simultaneously contracts existing collagen fibers, providing an instant skin-tightening effect.
Additionally, RF energy stimulates new collagen production in skin cells, firming and toning the treated area over time. Collagen remodels, smooths, and firms skin, resulting in sculpted, more defined features.
As the body produces more collagen with time, skin rejuvenation continues to improve three to six months post-treatment. Once done with tightening and contouring, Dr. Schlessinger will close the incisions with sutures.
Facetite takes one to two hours, based on the areas being treated.
What Happens After FaceTite?
Following Facetite, patients receive a facial compression garment to minimize swelling during recovery and ensure skin heals and tightens properly for an overall lifted and contoured appearance. Patients may experience some redness, bruising, and swelling post-procedure, which often subside within a few days.
FaceTite has a short recovery period. Generally, patients can resume regular activities within three days. The results of FaceTite are visible pretty quickly, but, but the final outcome may take three months to a year to fully manifest.
Over time, the face and neck become more visibly slimmer, contoured, and youthful as the body makes more collagen. Results from FaceTite can last for several years.
